The terms and conditions are provided for the purpose of enabling customers to place orders online. By placing an order the customer acknowledges his/ her complete acceptance of the terms and conditions.
The prices listed by Escape Stories on this website include one game with a maximum of 60 minutes game time (90 minutes for The Da Vinci Quest). The prices are shown in SEK. Escape Stories reserves the right to modify these prices at any time. Services will be billed according to the rates in effect at the moment the order is placed. Gift cards are loaded with a value in SEK, not a value for a specific number of players or games.
All reservations placed online are processed in real time and are subject to availability. The reservation will not be considered final until a confirmation email is sent from Escape Stories. Cancellation for smaller groups (2-10 players) is possible without charge up to 48 hours before the game. Cancellation for group bookings (10+ people) is possible without charge up to 2 weeks before the game. Late cancellations will result in a fee specified in your confirmation e-mail.
If you have booked our outdoors game (The Da Vinci Quest) and upon arrival realize that you wish to cancel your booking due to bad weather (heavy rain or similar) you are free to do so without charge.
However, if you wish to cancel your booking in advance due to bad weather forecast you must do so 48 hours before game start or earlier.Escape Stories will only accept payments by credit or debit cards on spot. If you wish to pay via invoice we will need your invoice information (specified in the confirmation email) sent to us by email before your arrival.
Escape Stories declines all responsibility for any damages to objects belonging to customers which have not been deposited in the cloak room or safety boxes provided for this purpose.
It is strictly prohibited to take pictures, film or record any part of the game.
Escape Stories is a non-smoking environment.
We reserve the right to deny entry to customers who are intoxicated, have been drinking, or who are deemed in any way unfit to partake in the game.
When making a booking at Escape Stories you share with us some personal data in the shape of name, email-address and phone number. We need these in order to give you a complete experience, including being able to send you a booking confirmation, being able to reach you regarding updates in your booking prior to your game, sending you pictures of your team after your visit and to share with you how your result compares with other teams over the course of months and years using our high score-system.
The contact information is also used to be able to reach you with news about Escape Stories and to give you special offers, including promotion emails and customized online advertising.
Deregistering from this is simple and can be done by the click of a button. At the very bottom of each email is a link where you can unsubscribe. If you’re certain from the start that you don’t want to receive any special offers from us we welcome you to send us an email at info@escapestories.com, and we will remove you from the list.
The same thing is true if you wish for your personal data to be erased from all our registers after your visit. This means we can’t share information regarding high scores and discounts with you, but if it is your wish to have your information erased completely just send us an email at info@escapestories.com, say the word and it’s done.
You can feel safe in knowing that Escape Stories never will divulge these data to third parties, except upon request by a judicial authority or other administrative authority empowered by law to request the communication of this information.
As a participant of a game at Escape Stories you must agree to and acknowledge the following:
I agree to obey and follow all instructions, rules and warnings given by Escape Stories employees at all times when on the premises.
I recognize that there are certain inherent risks associated with the activities and I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and (if applicable) my family members and further release and discharge Escape Stories for injury, loss, death or damage arising out of my or my familiy’s use of or presence upon the premises whether caused by the fault of myself, my family, Escape Stories or any third parties.
I agree to pay for all damages to the premises of Escape Stories caused by me or my family’s negligent, reckless or willful actions.
I consent that the contact information provided is true and accurate, and may be stored indefinitely by Escape Stories for legal and operational uses.
